No. This is an independent contractor opportunity.
Do I need tax experience?
No. New and experienced tax professionals can both have a lane here if they are willing to learn and meet team standards.
Will clients be handed to me?
No guaranteed client volume is promised. Maxx Out provides training, systems, marketing strategy and support, but you are expected to actively build relationships and clientele too.
Do I need my own PTIN?
If you are preparing federal returns for compensation, you will need to meet the applicable IRS preparer requirements, including having a valid PTIN.
Can I really make $25K+ in tax season?
$25K+ is a production target, not a guarantee. Actual earnings vary based on pricing, client volume, effort, experience, market conditions and other factors.
How does the Team Lead opportunity work?
Tax pros who show leadership ability and are willing to recruit can grow into a Team Lead lane where additional earning opportunities may be tied to team production. Specific compensation terms are provided separately.
